During my internship at SimCentric, I worked on the development of the Visual Search & Autonomous Linkage Tool (VSALT), a web-based platform designed to support intelligence analysts in processing and understanding complex datasets. My primary focus was on front-end development, where I contributed to building intuitive user interfaces that allowed users to visually explore and filter large volumes of data. The tool combines interactive data visualization with autonomous filtering to reveal meaningful patterns and relationships, improving the efficiency of human-led analysis. I collaborated closely with the product team to ensure the interface aligned with operational needs, prioritising usability, responsiveness, and visual clarity. This project enhanced my experience in building data-driven interfaces and reinforced the value of user-centered design in high-stakes analytical environments.
